KEGA PEER REVIEW REPORT
Peace of mind may be the most important benefit of an audit. Confidence in your CPA firm’s quality control is an essential component of your relationship with your organization’s management team, Board of Directors, and lenders. KEGA's (formerly KNEG) commitment to quality is illustrated in our voluntary participation in the AICPA’s peer review program since its inception in 1987 and our many positive reviews.
“In our opinion, the system of quality control for the accounting and auditing practice... has been suitably designed and complied with the provide the firm with reasonable assurance of performing and reporting in conformity with applicable professional standards.”

KEGA, CPAs has an external peer review conducted every three years and we also conduct our own internal peer review during each of the two years between external reviews. Please see the link below for our most recent Peer Review Report.
The State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation recently passed a mandated peer review for a CPA that performs at least one audited financial statement engagement.
The peer review encompasses a review of the CPA's audited, reviewed, compiled and other types of prepared financial statements.
Our firm has not been subject to disciplinary action by the Florida State Board of Accountancy nor have we been questioned by any Federal Office of Inspectors General (OIG) on any OMB Circular A-133 audits that we have performed. We are not currently, nor have we ever been under public or private reprimand in this state or any other states.
The nature, objectives, scope, limitations of, and the procedures performed in a System Review are described in the standards of the AICPA.
Firms can receive a rating of pass, pass with deficiencies, or fail. KEGA is pleased to receive a peer review rating of pass.
