2017 Ambassador of the Year Awarded to Melody Ipolito
The Indian River County Chamber of Commerce presented the “Jack Chesnutt Ambassador of the Year Award” to Melody Ipolito of Kmetz Nuttall Elwell Graham CPA’s at their annual awards dinner.
Melody has been a Chamber Ambassador for 7 years. In 2017 she attended 8 ribbon cuttings, 9 ambassador meetings, 9 Business After Hours, 6 Business At Breakfast events for a total of
32 events in 12 months. As an Ambassador, she consistently volunteers to make calls to our members to see how the chamber might be able to help their business.
The “Ambassadors” are a group of Chamber members who serve as welcome agents for new members at Chamber functions. Ambassadors serve as official emcees at such Chamber networking events, ribbon cuttings and ground breakings.
In 2017 the Chamber’s Board of Directors renamed the annual Ambassador of the Year award in memory of Jack Chesnutt, Sr. Jack was a local businessman who was actively involved with the Chamber for 67 years until his death in 2016. He was also a Chamber Ambassador.
