OPEN POSITIONS:

 

Senior Tax Accountant / Tax Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Tax Accountant / Tax Manager you will:

  • Apply the technical skills to perform an effective review of all types of tax returns (Individual, Partnerships, S-Corps, C-Corps)
  • Manage engagements including the planning and supervision of the tax return preparation process
  • Proactively communicate with staff on status of projects and offer assistance when needed in a professional manner
  • Mentor tax staff and assist with training and professional development
  • Research and provide guidance to staff, management and partners
  • Keep abreast of any legislative or professional changes, and consulting with clients on potential implications.
  • Develop and maintain long lasting relationships with clients as a trusted tax advisor
  • Display a commitment to the firm’s core values

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of public accounting experience with a strong concentration in tax including corporate, partnership, individual, trusts and estate planning, and resolving complex tax issues
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, with Masters in Accountancy preferred
  • CPA preferred
  • Leadership and review experience is required
  • Proficiency with UltraTax, GoFileRoom & File Cabinet experience is a plus

Staff Accountant

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of public accounting
  • Proficiency with UltraTax tax prep software preferred
  • CPA license is a plus

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and perform detailed tax return reviews and prepare appropriate review notes
  • Manage timelines and communicate expectations to team for tax engagements
  • Able to develop and maintain long lasting relationships with clients as a trusted tax advisor
  • Exceed client expectations in quality of work and timeliness of service
  • Manage projects by planning processes and procedures to ensure highest quality of work

Auditor

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • CPA license preferred
  • 2+ years of audit experience
  • Proficiency with CS Professional Suite software

Responsibilities:

Complete all phases of audit, compilation and review engagements assigned, including:

  • Attend planning meetings and fieldwork appointments
  • Client system documentation
  • Ratio reviews to determine testing
  • Inquiry and further analysis
  • Risk assessment evaluation
  • Engagement approach development
  • Preparation of workpapers to document financial statements and tax returns
  • Facilitate resolutions on complex audit and accounting issues
