OPEN POSITIONS:

Office Manager / Executive Assistant
Kmetz, Elwell, Graham & Associates is seeking an Office Manager/Executive Assistant to support our firm and the partners. This candidate must be able to:

 

• Display a positive attitude and have great customer service skills
• Work in a fast-paced environment while working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Manage and achieve deadlines under pressure
• Possess strong interpersonal skills, presenting a professional image of the firm in a courteous manner
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook & Adobe
• Demonstrate stellar organizational skills
• Work with client’s documents and maintain their confidentially
• Display a persistent high level of initiative while working independently and in a team environment
• Maintain expectations in quality of work, attention to detail and timeliness of project

 

Job duties include:
• Customer Management – Manage client projects related to taxes and accounting needs
• Assemble tax returns
• Create strategies, align processes, and execute tasks
• Email and Calendar Management – Schedule client and vendor appointments and meetings
• Monitor and update due dates for team members and client requests
• Review project tasks on a daily basis to ensure due dates and priorities are correct
• Prepare engagement and client letters
• Answer phones and greet clients

 

Preferred Qualifications Include:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years of experience of office management


Tax Manager

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• CPA license preferred
• 5+ years of public accounting
• Proficiency with CS Professional Suite tax prep software preferred

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and perform detailed tax return reviews and prepare appropriate review notes
• Manage timelines and communicate expectations to team for tax engagements
• Develop and maintain long lasting relationships with clients as a trusted tax advisor
• Exceed client expectations in quality of work and timeliness of service
• Manage projects by planning processes and procedures to ensure highest quality of work
• Mentor staff and provide written and oral feedback

Audit Manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• CPA license
• 3+ years of audit experience
• Proficiency with CS Professional Suite software

Responsibilities:

Complete all phases of audit, compilation and review engagements assigned, including:

• Planning meetings
• Fieldwork supervision
• Client system documentation
• Ratio reviews to determine testing
• Inquiry and further analysis
• Risk assessment evaluation
• Engagement approach development
• Supervise staff in preparation of workpapers to document financial statements and tax returns
• Facilitate resolutions on complex audit and accounting issues
• Mentor staff and provide written and oral feedback
